WHen I had Audacity 1.2.6 on my Dell computer, there was an input setting for "Wave" that allowed me to record whatever was coming out of my computers speakers (without using a built in mic).
Is there any similar setting in Audacity 1.3.8 for the Mac? When I select the "Line In" input setting, I record nothing.
Equivalent of "Wave" Input setting in Audacity for Mac

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

First, upgrade to 1.3.12 http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_mac
Second, Mac cannot natively record "what you hear". For that you'll need SoundFlower.
