Am trying to remove some impulse background noises that occurred during a live recording.
Would like to remove only these impulses so am wondering what the minimum (smallest) time slice that Audacity 1.3.. Beta can achieve?
Appreciate any tips or suggestions how to do this.
Checked the Wiki tips and tutorials but did not find anything suggestions concerning this.
Thanks
Ken

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Minimum Editable Time Slice?
First, make sure that "Snap To" is unchecked in the Selection Toolbar, at the lower left of the Audacity window. You can then zoom in to the waveform until you can see the individual samples, and delete one sample if that's what you want to do.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the tips and links!
Was very impressed that Audacity could edit at the individual sample level.
