HELP! Export doesn't match labels?

Using a MAC (Snow Leopard) with Aud Beta 1.3.10

Have my first project edited, labeled and exported.

When I play back the files in iTunes, the individual tracks did not terminate where I labeled them? At the end of track one, I hear the first .5 to 2.5 seconds of Track 2. Then iTunes advances to track 2 and I get to hear the intro again.

I'm looking for a way to turn off the 2-second gap in Audacity, but I'm not sure that's really the issue, and that's usually for the CD burner anyway.

I've searched preferences and all kinds of things looking for a solution, to no avail.

How can I assure that Audacity will actually begin and end exported tracks exactly where I mark them?

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me to point me in the right direction.

You are probably using an earlier version of 1.3 which carried this bug. It is fixed in 1.3.12 the latest Beta, so download that from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

Yes it was a short lived bug specific to Audacity 1.3.10
