Hello mederi,

Many thanks for your subtitle converter; I'm trying to use it in conjunction with VisualSubSync but have used Audacity on previous ocassions.

My problem regards the conversion of timing (start/stop). I think it's something to do with international settings of Excel as we use a comma for decimal and dot for thousands here (Turkey).

When I convert from txt-->srt all the timings come out wrong. What do you suggest I should do in order to get them to convert correctly? (I've tried with dot instead of comma, no change, so I think the colons (:) are causing trouble...)

Here's a sample of the conversion result:

Input:
00:08:53,191 00:08:59,702 When an atmosphere is oxygen-deficient then certain symptoms will be noticed in human behavior.
00:09:00,022 00:09:02,618 ranging from: rapid exhaustion
00:09:02,738 00:09:04,177 persperation
00:09:04,297 00:09:05,827 drowsiness

Output:
95
00:00:00,00: --> 00:00:00,00:
When an atmosphere is oxygen-deficient then certain symptoms will be noticed in human behavior.

96
00:00:00,00: --> 00:00:00,00:
ranging from: rapid exhaustion

97
00:00:00,00: --> 00:00:00,00:
persperation

98
00:00:00,00: --> 00:00:00,00:
drowsiness

If you're going strictly from label to .srt, try my program - it deals with the commas. I need it to be tested anyway.
