Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

Beginner: Export to universally usable format on CD

Post by calsbusiness » Fri Jun 06, 2008 6:37 pm

I am using an Intel Mac OSX. How do I burn a CD that will play in car, etc.?
I have created an Apple AIFF file and would like to export to the above.
I am recording off a USB turntable from 33 rpm vinyl.

Open your music in iTunes. Create a new PlayList and pull your music to the playlist. One of the iTunes options is to burn the playlist to a CD.

This will produce a standard Music CD that will play in your car, truck, or mobile home.
