PC not picking up sound from USB Turntable

Hello all,

I have purchased a Skytac USB turntable and have followed every instruction. I noticed it was not recording from the USB cord. I am using Vista and it is recognising the device of as a Microphone USB Audio Codec but it is not picking up any sound. It is selected as default 'Recording' Device.

First thing I would do is to upgrade you Audacity to the latest version 1.3.12 - it is much better than the now ancient 1.2 (that I'm sure shipped with your TT). You can get 1.3 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/
