Hi Folks,
Having exported WAV files from Audacity, they obviously need to be converted to CDA in order to produce a conventional Audio CD. Would anyone care to suggest a suitable piece of software (preferably free) to carry out this conversion?
Thanks.

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: WAV to CDA conversion
I think you can get Nero downloadbal for free - I used to use it on my previous PC successfully.
My current Dell came bundled with RecordNow! which also works well for producing music CDs - I don't know if you can get that for free.
iTunes (downloadable free) can also do the job for you - it works fine on PCs/Windows.

Re: WAV to CDA conversion
I think the "free" Nero is a trial version, but "Nero 7 Essentials" will do the job very well and is only about $10 (£5GBP) and I would say, well worth it. This version has major limitations for burning DVD videos, and bootable CD's (compared with the full version), but for standard audio CD's it is just about perfect.
