MP3 Library
I had Audacity working just fine on a 6 gig drive but not enough free space to edit a 13 minute MP3 . Reloaded Ubuntu and Audacity on a 20 gig and was able to edit the song but I can't "save" it back to it's original loacation becuse Audacity can't find 'libmp3lame.so.o". Chosing "download" only gets me to Windoze solutions. What am I missing?

Re: MP3 Library
I'll add some instructions for Linux to the Manual FAQ. Meantime you can use the following instructions to install LAME via Synaptic (if not already installed) and point Audacity to it:

Re: MP3 Library
YES! and a big THANK YOU ! The installation went smoothly with those instructions. I succesfully removed the scratches from David Brombergs Bullfrog Blues, and the export in MP3 format went right back in the spot where the old file was!
I'm back in business with the larger hard drive.
Thanks again to you folks in the Linux community, you are awesome!
