Steve, I'm using XP Home Edition.
David, thanks for the info! I'm using an old version of JAWS, version 7.10, and I don't have the money to upgrade to version 12 right now, but I do have the JAWS 12 demo CD around here somewhere. Version 7.10 has really been all I needed until now.
I just thought of this, but I guess I can use the prompt labeler in JAWS to label the sliders myself. Currently, JAWS 7.10 reads the name of the checkbox in Audacity 1.3.5, and I have to use the JAWS cursor to read what the sliders are. That's weird that JAWS 11, which is obviously a later version, doesn't read that checkbox.
Issue with Chris's compressor
