I am a dance studio owner... I use Audacity for ALL of my cutting needs. Last week, I needed to take out the vocals of a song and I did so successfully. However, ever since I did that, my output MP3s sound like CRAP. They sound as if they are miles away in a bucket. I feel like I've tried everything, but you guys are the experts, so what can I do to get it back to sounding normal??? I have about 40 songs that I need to save as mp3 by tonight and I'm stressing out (My big show is tomorrow!!)...
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Re: NEED MAJOR HELP!
My first thought is, have you checked that you're not saving the MP3s at a lower bit rate than usual? Anything less than 128kbps for music starts to sound pretty poor.
