Hey guys,
I have attached to this post an audio file which is a recording of myself and my friends talking to people/women in a nightclub, and I'm trying to clean it up (i.e. be able to understand what anyone at all is saying at any one point) but I'm not having much success. I figured this was the place to come for said problem, so if you guys really know what's going on with this program (because I tried noise removal and FFT filter and I couldn't get anything out of them) then I'd much appreciate it. If you can post the cleaned up mp3 I'd appreciate that even more.

- THis is the absolute dirtiest audio file I have ever heard....from a strictly technical sound engineerish perspective of course.

Re: The Ultimate Audio Cleanup Challenge
What are you going to do when we say forget it?
The recorder or the microphone itself overloaded periodically and that's what gave you the blank spots. The rest of the show is in clipping overload which is petty much fatal. That's the red bits.
You might give this a tiny push with the equalizer tool. Droop everything below 300 and above 3000. What left will be awful, but you might be able to understand what's happening.
The blank parts are permanent.
