Hi
I'm a recent convert from Windows to Mac.
From time to time I'm asked to record an event for my church. In the past I've taken my laptop (windows), loaded audacity and began recording. Now I'm a little confused and need some direction.
I will be recording an event Wednesday night. I still need to record the event onto my laptop (windows) and then when I get home, I would like to edit the recording on my new iMac.
Will the recording (audacity) from my windows laptop be compatible to download on my Mac and what issues will I encounter if any?
I look forward to your reply.
Cheers!

Re: Audacity windows>mac (?)
When you have recorded on your Laptop, "Export" as a WAV file, and open the WAV file on your iMac.
WAV files are lossless and easy to move from one machine to another,
Audacity Projects can easily break and become unusable if you try to move them.
