Hooking up my turntables.

Post by marts73 » Sun Apr 13, 2008 10:10 am

I'm baffled. All I want to do is use Audacity to record mixes with two turntables and a mixer. I'm using pc tower and it's a few weeks old, bang up to date and full of memory. I've been getting to grips with doing mixes with mp3 and wavs although I've not yet sussed how to beat match with those formats.
I have the turntables plugged into my mixer and the master out from the mixer going to the audio jack on the computer. With nothing happening on the screen apart from a blue line running along instead of the expected soundwaves.
Thanking you in advance.
cheers.
