Audacity won't launch on new Indamixx Netbook, Linux Ubuntu. Don't know what versions. Indamixx just updated/upgraded to their latest OS version with a script.
Seems like some sort of conflict.
Audacity used to launch at least, although I had not tried much more than a 10 second recording and it would get stuck/stop recording.
How can I try running it from the terminal command line? I don't know much about Linux commands.
Are there typical things I could check like software version from the command line?

You would probably be best to contact indamixx re. the other questions. They will know what they've done, but we don't.
