ID3 Pop Up No Longer Pops Up

I have been using version 1.21 for years and I recently switched to 1.26. All was well for a few weeks, then the ID3 pop up stopped popping up when I "export selected" to MP3. First it popped up on the first save but none after that. Now it doesn't even pop up at all. I can find it under PROJECT on the menu, but shouldn't it pop up automatically?

I tried installing 1.3, then reinstalled 1.26. I uninstalled all versions, cleared the registry of all references to audacity, and started over again. no ID3 pop up. Help!

Once you save a project, the ID3 info automatically gets filled in from that point on. So if you're using the same Audacity project to do all your editing, I would expect this to happen.

It's annoying sometimes, but I don't think there's a way to change it.

I have not saved a "project", only "export selected to MP3". It used to pop up with each export, but suddenly stopped.

I found the answer to my problem. I went back to version 1.21 and it worked as I thought. Then I read the release notes of changes for the next version, 1.22 and one of the changes was to only pop up the ID3 tag once if you enter any data into it. DUH!
