Recording Internally from the internet?

Hi,

How can i record music and sound clips or anything that would be coming out of the output?

How can this be done?

You have to select an input called "Stereo Mix" or similar which feeds the output of (for example) streaming audio on a web page to Audacity.

Keep in mind that Audacity can only offer input options provided by your audio device. There are often posts around here regarding soundchips or cards on PCs which appear to be deliberately limited in this department by the manufacturer (Dell in particular are often quoted). In some cases an updated driver will solve the problem but if not then you're looking at upgrading your audio device.
