REMOVING EFFECTS WITHOUT UNDO

Post by audioman3rd » Thu Apr 03, 2008 12:50 am

Hi
Is there any option or way of removing an effect when undo is not an option ie I have exported a wav from audacity and have since become unhappy with some wah wah I put on a certain section and now I want to remove that wah wah effect (I only have the wav file)
Is their a plug in or option that would allow me to remove or somehow neutralize that or a particular effect?
Thanks!

Nope - once an effect is buried in the mix in a WAV file there is no way of removing it. It's a case of re-recording the track I'm afraid.
