I have Audacity 1.2.6 for my iMac, OS 10.4.
My question is: Does anyone know a way to add music to a slideshow of digital photos?
I do have iTunes and iDVD applications. I want to burn this slideshow with music to a DVD or CD.

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

This is actually Keynote's job. That's the slide show production tool. I think it's buried in iWorks.
You can probably force iDVD to do this. You'll need to produce your audio track, import it to iDVD and then guess at the durations of the slides so they come out synchronized with the words. Keynote has transition tools so you can fade and dissolve between slides and cue marks, I don't know if iDVD can do that or not.
Last time I used iDVD, it was pretty basic.
You can totally do this in Final Cut.

You can do it with iMovie, don't have to pay for Final Cut.
