I am a first time Audacity user and am finding it easy to use and fun. I am trying to create one music track by merging several other tracks together (mixing). I am not a technical person, but I can not seem to figure out how to take a clip I have cut out of one song and put it over (or on top) on the other song while it's still playing? Can this be done? Also I want to merge two tracks together, can this be done? I do not want them to sound like they have ended but I do not want it to fade in or out I would like to have them mix together, is this possible. Can anyone give me help with these two questions? I truly would appreciate it. This is the only thing that is preventing me from finishing my project.
Thank you so much.

Re: Help with blending two tracks together
just open Audacity click on Project->Import Audio. browse and select your first file. repeat and select your second file. use the time shift tool to align them.
