Whispered voices

Post by justme85 » Sun Jul 04, 2010 9:34 am

Hi all,

I'm new to this program, I was wondering how can I transform a normal voice into a whispered voice? Is there a filter or a combination of settings to achieve this?
For those who have watched LOST, I'm trying to do something like the voices in the forest.
Thank you:)

not really
better to whisper initially when you record

but you could try to
lower the level using amplify (negative values to lower)
use eq to boost the highs some
use eq to cut the bass some

<<<better to whisper initially when you record >>>

<<<how can I transform a normal voice>>>

What most people really mean by that is "normal voice I downloaded from the internet." There is no local record or they would have recorded the whisper in the first place.
