I have 3 .wav files that I want to apply the same settings/steps too. Is it possible to do this?
Files are all from a recording session where there was a lot of noise on the line, I was able to isolate it and get it out but want to make sure if possible that I do the same thing to all 3 files so it sounds consistent.
Thanks!
Use same settings on different files?

Re: Use same settings on different files?
It's pretty simple if you haven't already saved and closed the first file. All you have to do is open the other two WAV files in separate Audacity windows while keeping the first file opened. When you go to the Noise Gate effect, or what ever other effects you're using, your settings from the first file are retained, as if they were the default settings. Just click OK and resave each file when you are done.
If you've already saved and closed the first file, you'll have to set up your effects again.
Hope this helps.

Re: Use same settings on different files?
Thanks, yea I already closed and saved the first project so that isn't going to work. However that gives me the idea that I can try to recreate the original file (noise removal mostly) settings and then apply them to the other two files so in essence still doing what I was trying.
