I would like to import Raw data (A-law files) using the command-line. Is this possible? The desired calling convention would be as follows:
audacity sample1.pcm sample2.pcm
where sample1.pcm and sample2.pcm would be Alaw files. Right now, I open the "Audacity" application, and separately import each Alaw file. If a more automated procedure exists, I would like to know about it.
Thanks.

Re: Import Raw data using Command-line
As far as I'm aware that is not possible. You can do it with WAV files, but not with Raw data files.
Does drag and drop work? If not, how about running a batch conversion on the files to make them into WAV files (you may be able to do that with SOX)
