Export to G.711ulaw/alaw (8bit, mono) for VoIP IVR

Post by Lobin » Wed May 05, 2010 8:44 am

Hi,

I've installed latest AudaCity 1.3.12 which I found has any option to export as a G.711 standard. I need to strip and process a few prompts to new voice Contact Center IVR menu.

Please, can you advice me, how to export to those formats? Is there any external export plugin required? Is it also possible to export to G.729(a)? I havent found it in "file -> export" menu (attached picture).

Thank you in advance!

Regards,
Lobo

p.s. Sorry I have found localized version, Its in Czech, but I would also welcome advices in english Audacity enviroment, I'll find it out.

You must have the ffmpeg import/export library installed.

See here
http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... tallffmpeg
for downloading and installing.

If you select "Custom FFmpeg Export" in the dropdown menu, and then click on Options (Nastavení, in your screenshot), you will get a list of all the possible formats for export with FFmpeg.
