FFmpeg library not found

FFmpeg library not found

I have audacity 1.3.12 and have been trying to get Audacity to recognize FFmpeg.
at the current moment this is my setup.

audacity 1.3.12
FFmpeg build 52
FFmpeg installed to my audacity directory (because i don't have admin privileges)

when ever i try to load the FFmpeg lib in the prefrences it says
Audacity wrote:FFmpeg library not found
PLEASE HELP.

If you don't have admin privileges, how did you get Audacity to work? The latest lame, for example, that I know of won't install without admin.
