1.3.13 Beta when released will now prevent the generic "disk full" error appearing on Windows Vista and earlier when you save a project with a name including "". We'll now throw our own:

"Could not save project. Path not found. Try creating directory "%s" before saving project with this name."

where "%s" is the name you typed before the "".

Unfortunately, it now says that on Linux and Mac too, so the bug is still open for those platforms. Not of course that you should do this, but renaming the .aup" and the _data folder to include the "", and editing projname in the .aup to point to the renamed folder still leads to Audacity not finding the _data folder when opening the project.

Windows 7 will still throw the operating system error it did before:

"Path does not exist. Check the path and try again."
