Can i use audacity source as a audio library in my project?

Post by dc85 » Tue Feb 02, 2010 10:09 am

After using audacity for a while, i've recognised that it could be a good solution as an audio library for a personal project i have. Is it possible to use the audio source code as an audio library in another project?

I'm yet to see the source...my interest is whether or not the source is componetised enough to use only the audio mixing capabilities in isolation?

thanks

Audacity is a very complex cross platform program. The "Bass audio library" may be more suitable: http://www.un4seen.com/
