Hi
Can this be done? I want to further manipulate the recording I have already converted to mp3.
Thanks,
John

Re: mp3 to aup
Should work fine if you have a proper MP3 - it won't work if you have an AAC file say (from iTunes)

Re: mp3 to aup
You understand the quality of anything you do from here on will be that of the MP3. It won't magically restore the high quality of the original capture sound files. Audio (and video) compression, except in some very narrow circumstances, is permanently destructive.
So, yes, open your MP3 and it will form a show on your timeline and if you Save As Project..., it will give you a new AUP file. It's a little scary why you want a new AUP file. It won't give you all your original edits back....
