I'm wondering if any one else out here has run into this problem.
I know I used the nyquist plug-in Center Pan Remover before and got some results. I was able to remove the vocals and to isolate them. Now when I go to use the effect I get the error message "Nyquist did not return any audio"
Is there something I'm doing wrong?
If someone else has had this issue, please let me know, so that I don't feel like I'm going crazy!!
EDIT: For the record I'm using Audacity version 1.2.6 on Windows XP Professional 5.1
Thanks!!

Re: Center Pan Remover not working
On a wild, loosely structured guess, I'd say you either tried to VocalRemoval a mono cut, or a cut in two-track mono. Both of those cut types will give you zero audio when you apply the filter. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that was one of the conditions that returns an error. Since the performance result of the filter is zero, you are as far ahead now as you were before.
Blow up a small portion of the performance Really a Lot and inspect the waveforms. In a natural stereo show, they will not be exactly the same.
There is a way to be absolutely sure of this by applying various filters, but see how that works out.
