record as WAV ?

Post by rectek » Wed Jan 20, 2010 7:03 pm

Hi
I have the newest version of Audacity installed (1.3.9 unicode,) and when I try to record something and store it as a WAV, the file-export sequence leads me to a window called something like "edit metadata."

I searched this site for help, also looked into the "help" section of Audacity, but cant figure out how to make the program record/save things WAV format.

Thanks in advance for your time

Just click through it.

Or you can turn the metadata editof off with a setting in Preferences (sorry I can't look exactly where right now as I'm currently capturing FM off-air).

BTW, I've moved this topic from the Audacity 1.2 part of the forum to the 1.3 part of the forum.
