Playing mp3's exported from Audacity in iTunes

Playing mp3's exported from Audacity in iTunes

I recorded a track from an old cassette tape onto my MacBook, exported the file from Audacity as an mp3. Imported it to my iTunes library; it doesn't play. I can open it w/ RealPlayer, but not with iTunes. Any suggestions?

Here I am again to say, "Never mind." I discovered that NOTHING would play in iTunes. I turned the computer off and on again, and whatever the problem was, it's solved.
