playback still souds muted
hi, i listened to the audio samples and they sound fine through my speakers....i record and it sounds muted on playback...any advice?

What do you mean by "muted" - silent? a bit quiet? muffled?

What did we tell you the first time?
Dig into the Audacity Preferences and tell us what the first two Quality entries are; Sample and Format.
