audacity crashes on startup!
audacity 1.2x crashes on startup but 1.3 beta works fine. This may seem all well and good but I want to use 1.2x not the beta version. Im using windows vista 32 ultimate but I dont think thats the issue. Idk whats up and I havnt been able to troubleshoot the issue. I've uninstalled and re-installed 3 times with no luck. I've also tried running in computability mode. any ideas?

To be honest, if v 1.3.4 beta works ok, I'd use that - IMHO it's a lot better than v 1.2.x
