itunes oddity
I've been recording stuff with Audacity 1.3, and transferring it to iTunes. With help from this forum, the quality is now great, but there's one strange thing happening - when it gets to the end of a track, it starts playing the next track in it's proper order, but after a couple of seconds, jumps to a different track, which it then plays all the way through. Then same again next track around. This happens without exception, but only on the stuff I've recorded in Audacity. Has anyone come across this, and can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks
Chris

Re: itunes oddity
I've just realised, from watching the counter on my iPhone, that each track has a bit of the next track appended at the end, which it plays before moving to the next track proper.
I'm obviously doing something wrong in dividing the tracks up - I'm currently doing it by placing the label for each track right at the beginning, and then leaving the few seconds silence at the end. Do I need to do something to mark the end of the track as well as the beginning?
Sorry if this is really obvious, but any help appreciated

Re: itunes oddity
No, you're not doing anything wrong. This is a known bug in 1.3.10, which has been corrected in the nightly builds of 1.3.11

<<< I've been recording stuff with Audacity 1.3>>>
1.3.10 has a known problem with multiple export. Upgrade to 1.3.11 from the nightly build.
And now that I told you that, I can't find them... You can help. Try searching the forum for "Export Multiple." I know this is very old news, but I've never had to deal with it on the Windows side.

The link to the Windows 1.3.11 alpha was updated on that page about a week ago. It now points to the page on gaclrecords.org.uk where the latest alpha zip file resides.kozikowski wrote: Did you try to use that link?
