Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

I am using Audacity and an APEX 440. I am using this with a Macbook Pro. I have no problems other then, when I clean up the noise from the dead space by using noise removal, My voice sounds a little tinny or off. Can anyone help me with this? is this an easy fix?

Use Audacity 1.3 rather than Audacity 1.2 (the noise removal is much improved in 1.3)
If you still get the problem, use less noise reduction (set the "Noise Reduction" setting to a lower number). This will remove less noise, but will do less damage to the remaining sound. It is usually preferable to have a little bit of noise and good sound than no noise and bad sound.
