Track division

I am successful with transfer of old LP's via Audacity, but my son in-law teases me because all bands on the LP are appearing as one solid track on the new CD, - In other words there is no chance of going in on the CD and choose track no. 7.

How do I transfer the bands on the LP to numbered tracks on the CD ?

I know the theory of this. Stop on the gap between cuts and add a marker. Project > Add Marker or Apple-B (I don't know what it is in Windows).

When you're done, File > Export Multiple, and it should give you a pile of individual files instead of one long one.
