Okay...downloaded Switch trial version.
As I will likely only use this software once, can anyone tell me how to use it?

Weird extension, however. File name-dvf.wav?
Wadeva. It loaded into Aucacity just fine...AND PLAYS! IT PLAYS, MAN!
Now, if I can just amplify certain parts of the track, save this, and burn it to CD.
Er...it WILL allow me to save my work, won't it?

Don't bother Saving the project - just Export stright to WAV.

I am working on my wifes 45rpm singles right now and I pop them straight out to WAV after recording and a bit of editing - not an Audacity project in sight (except of coutrse the temporary work files that Audacity uses while I record and process).
