Hi.
I'm looking for a de-esser. Google told me there is one in the LADSPA-Package - but I just can't find it there. Neither as dll-file nor in the effects-menu. Did they name it differen?! Are there alternative plug-ins or programs?
Thx a lot, Flash

Re: de-esser in LADSPA
There is no de-esser in the LADSPA pack provided on the Audacity page. I'm not quite sure why people are telling you there is.
However, there is a de-esser in this pack:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tap-plugins
I haven't used it, I can't say how well it works, but this page should be useful:
http://tap-plugins.sourceforge.net/ladspa/deesser.html

Re: de-esser in LADSPA
Thank you, but as I understand the Audacity-Wiki, I need a compiled Version of TAP - for I'm running Win XP. And TAP seems to be Linux-only, isn't it? (I'm a complete noob with all the Linux-Stuff...). Fact is I extracted the "tap-plugins-0.7.0" in my plugins-folder and nothing happened.
What else can I try?

Sorry, I overlooked that.
A quick search led me to this forum:

I guess you'll also need the VST plugin enabler to run it. That's here:
