Unsupported files conversion

Hi

I am currently using Audacity version 1.3.10 on Windows XP SP3 and am trying to import a large number of unsupported files (.RSS) through the program for convertion to .wav files.

I am able to import them via 'Import > Raw Data' and they do give the correct audio they're supposed to, but I have to manually choose the correct settings (Encoding, Byte order, Channels, etc.) and I can only import 1 file at a time.

Seeing as I have 2014 files I want to convert, I'm sure you can understand my reluctancy to go through with my currently repetitive import/convert process lol

So, I was wondering if there was some way I could get around this; perhaps through changing the file extensions to something Audacity would instantly recognise as "Raw Data" or even better, by use of command line, so that Audacity would assume the files as raw data, with the desired settings and convert them?

Audacity is a terrible converter. If you're going to use Audacity for editing or post production, you have to approach it with files already in a format it understands.

Look at Super or Switch to convert your files to other formats. One of them is free.

Actually, both are free.
There are free and paid versions of Switch. I use the free version and it does everything I want.
