I have been having issues with audacity reading the raw data (music) that i want to import in to audacity. the music is online, embedded in a URL.
example : http://geoffhawryluk.com/blog/BerhaneGe ... ael/02.mp3
In audacity, It allows me to open the file and import however what is available on the actual track is like 0.004 seconds in length of just NO SOUND. I have tired to solve this problem by adjusting how i import (encoding, bite order, channels, sample rate) but its still the same. for a while i suspected i had the LAME installed improperly, but that is not the case as far as i can tell. i've checked the preferences a gazillion times but to no avail.
at this point I am stuck and desperate.
I need the file for a podcast project i am doing for my job.
pleae. please. please help!

Re: ISSUES READING IMPORT DATA
If you right-click on the link in your message above and then select "Download link target" (or some such - that's what Camino calls it), you will be able to download the MP3. You are probably trying to treat the html as audio. I just tried this and it works fine.
