Missing tabs under Preferences

Am unable to record in stereo. Helps tell me to go to Preferences Audio I/O but there is no such tab. The tabs are Interface, Keyboard and Mouse under Preferences nothing else. What am I missing? I am running Vista Home Premium and my USB device is a Behringer U-Phono UFO202.

Which version of Audacity are you using? (Help menu > About Audacity)

My version is 1.2.6. I loaded this version from Behringer CD anf the same version from the Audacity site and the results are the same.

You might want to try 1.3.10. Version 1.2.6 may have problems with Vista.

!.3 gives me all tabs, just appears differently. Will try to record now. Thanks!

When you open preferences in 1.2 scroll left on left or right arrow heads and I believe you'll see the I/O tab
