Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

multiple exports and track overlaps…

Post by rik » Fri Dec 11, 2009 2:40 pm

Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have been using Audacity for a long time now and am a great fan of it.

I have a slight problem and wonder if anyone can help me… I recently montaged 5 music tracks together and exported them as a single aiff file. I then reopened this file and added labels at the begining of each track and exported them again using multiple export. All appears to be fine. I then add these seperate files to itunes and burn a CD from there. However, for some unknown reason at the end of each track I get a second or two of the next track which then repeats itself when that track starts. It's really driving me crazy now. Any ideas?

This is a bug that was introduced in 1.3.10 - you should not be seeing it in 1.2.x

If you are using 1.3 eitther try 1.3.9 - or if you are feeling more adventurous the nightly builds of 1.3.11

Thanx for your suggestion. Least I know I'm not going crazy! I'll try the 1.3.9 version and hopefully that'll get things 'back to normal'. Cheers.
