Helmet Radio Effect

Post by Archmaster » Fri Dec 11, 2009 5:49 am

Hey, sup, just another question. How would I get a helmet radio effect in audacity 1.3.10? I played around with equalizer, but I didn't really get the effect that I wanted. I've seen tutorials for 1.2.6 that say to use high pass filter, but I can't seem to find that effect in 1.3.10. Help?

You can go a long way just by getting close to the microphone. Then filter everything below about 500 to 800 and everything above 4000 to 5000. Then apply Effect > Leveler multiple times to get that robust distortion.

HiPass Filter and Low Pass Filter should be at the bottom of the Effects pile.
