Hi,
I recorded the audio from a video while playing it on the internet, but it has a lot of spaces (gaps of silence),
do to interuptions while buffering.
Is there a simple way of removing these silences, or do I have to do it manually? There's about 30 of them.
Thanks,
..... john

Re: removing silence
Under the Analyze menu there is a Silence Finder function - never used it myself so I don't know how well it works.

Re: removing silence
You can shrink them down to about 1 millisecond using the "Truncate Silence" effect.
To remove the silences completely you need to do it manually, but the "Silence Finder" (in the Analyze menu) will help you to quickly locate the silences.

Thanks,
I can locate them easily. They're 10 15 seconds long, each.
I guess I'll so it manually.
