Volume Problems with Vinyl

Post by taptony » Tue Dec 04, 2007 12:39 pm

I am recording vinyl tracks with Audacity 1.2.6, then exporting them as MP3 for use within iTunes. But the volume, when I play them on my iPod, is much too low. I have the output volume set at 0.9 and the input volume at 0.9. Please help

Normalise your tracks before you export.

Or see pp 33&34 of the iPod User Guide re "To set iTunes to adjust all songs you play at the same relative sound level" & "To set iPod to use the iTunes volume settings" - in the Chapter on "Adjusting iPod settings".
