Time and amplitude scales

Post by steve » Sat Dec 01, 2007 1:59 pm

I think it would be a useful feature to be able to display the amplitude in dB (rather than just +1.0 /-1.0 ), and have the option of displaying the time scale measures:beats (setting bpm in project).

Also, a grid background to the waveform display would make it easier to see exact levels and timings.

Click on the track name to get the track menu, and select "Waveform (dB)" to get it to show the waveform and levels in dB.

Thanks richardash1981.

It would be nice to have dB for -ve going part of waveform as well.
