Hi All,

I found out that what you really need is to install your motherboard drivers off of your motherboard manufacturer website. For instance, mine was a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R (rev. 2.0) Board. I found that if you don't install the drivers with that Realtek software, you will not be able to select the "Stereo Mix" as a recording device. Right click your "Volume" icon and go to "Recording Devices". Make sure you right click the white space and both options, "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show disconnected devices" are checked. After that, you should see an option to enable "Stereo Mix". If you don't, you need to install those audio drivers.
