Hello Friends..
I need to trim the end off an mp3 and then fade out the last bit of it. From what I've read on the forums Audacity seems to be the way to go and I've downloaded it, opened the mp3, selected part of the track...why is it that all the options like trim/cut/paste in the Edit menu are all greyed out so I can't do anything? Is there something bleedingly obvious I'm missing?
Reply Hopefully..
Thanking you

In Audacity 1.2, you have to have something selected before a lot of the tools wake up.
