Thanks.
We can't help without knowing the details of the error. It usually means you have the wrong SDK or .NET Framework. I'd suggest you ask on the
Visual Studio C++ Forum.
When you have installed VS2008, see win/compile.txt in the source code.

You have the same problem as what?
The type of signature you posted (removed) and the utter vagueness of your post leads me to believe that this is not a genuine enquiry.
You have been given the benefit of the doubt.

We have down loaded the audacity program and tried to convert a wave file to an mp.3 file but we get an error message that audacity does not export mp.3 files directly....and that we needed to obtain the lame_enc.dell. When we went back on the audacity web site and downloaded what we thought was the correct program and followed the instructions on what we were to do we continued to get an error message. It was like it wasn't finding the lame_enc.dell.
Help!?

If you are on Windows:
Download Audacity 1.3.x from here:
http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows
Install Audacity.
Download the ZIP version of Lame from here:
http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/
Extract the ZIP file into your Audacity program folder (make sure you get the new Audacity 1.3 folder and not an old version)
Open Audacity and go to "Edit menu > Preferences > Libraries" and click on the Lame > Locate button.
If necessary, navigate to the Lame file.
