Re: 1.3.9 cannot record stream on xp2
i do not know what happened to audacity and i am very sorry for that software, i buyed new computer and because of that i have problem, maybe because of new hardware
i found Screamer radio for stream recording if needed to anyone, also if you record a sound from computer or this for example http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/radio3/ i used CDex but sound is not good so i used ashampoo mp3 audiocenter and normalized it but sound still is not perfect
so now i am search please for better software than CDex
audacity donned this job before perfectly
ps my ip is blacklisted i do not know why

If you didn't understand "loopback cable" then you couldn't have tried everything in that article.
A loopback cabe is simply a cable that connects the outputs of the soundcard on you PC to its inputs (i.e. it loops back the sound coming from the PC back to the PC).
See this page in the 1.3.9 manual (not released - and still under development) for an example: http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... nd_Linux_2
The connectors that you have may differ - but the 3.5mm TRS stereo minijacks shown in the example are the most likely.

Re: 1.3.9 cannot record stream on xp2
I really do not know about now i must buy a cable...
we will see what the time will bring,
heres new things about my survey,
i surfed google with ''sound recorder '' tip and similar and i received only Total Recorder and PolderbitS Sound Recorder are doing the job that i looking for, but audacity is better, those two i must buy
now i tried wavesaur and he give me a hope, because he do a job like audacity so i saw that i do not need CDex - my audacity is doing the same job but i must use still ashampoomp3audiocenter to get higher and normalized volume, - the sound is not perfect but i can suffer it,
i will look further for solution of this problem
note-audacity is the best audio softwer that i know, it is not big like others...
bay
