Re: Chris's Compressor - Three Queries
It looks like both bugs are now fixed, so hopefully a new version will appear shortly.

Haven't tested it yet, but I trust Chris.

Re: Chris's Compressor - Three Queries
Am I the only one for whom version 1.2.2 of Chris's Compressor works even worse than it did before? Audacity simply crashes when applying the compressor to some songs...
Re: Chris's Compressor - Three Queries
I've tested 1.2.2 quite a lot without it crashing, but using Audacity 1.3.9 and 1.3.10 (both have the new version of Nyquist) and I've only tested on relatively short tracks.
Chris has been able to reproduce the issue when compressing a "long'ish" track, so will hopefully have a fix for this new problem quite quickly.

Re: Chris's Compressor - Three Queries
Yep, I read it on Metablog. Actually I was the one who asked him about this...
It may have something to do with the track's length; the one that made Audacity crash in my case was 6:24, which I assume makes it "large-ish" as Chris said.
I'm sure he'll find a fix soon, but he was kind enough to re-upload 1.2.1 after my request. There should be more people like him.
